"I am event planner for a non-profit attorney/parenting group. Every year we host a huge summer picnic. 100-200 attendees (kids and adults).

This year, our usual face painter was on vacation. So I hired Amy (the Owner) and Codie to provide face painting for all of the children. And they were AMAZING!!!! These artists are so talented- quick but elaborate and beautiful face (and arm!) paintings. I confess- they were so beautiful that several of the adults requested face paint (myself included). I have never requested face painting in the past at the picnic but this was too lovely to pass up.

This team is NOT a rinky dink operation- high quality paints and skilled artists. We had the whole range - elaborate flowers, butterflies, black and white masquerade designs to every imaginable animal and Pikachu and a Pokemon ball!

I cannot recommend Amy's Artistic Expressions highly enough. So many of our guests commented on their beautiful work. We will definitely be hiring Amy and her team for next year's event (and for as many after that as her schedule will allow!)" - 5-star rating on Yelp!

... I would like to note that I specifically appreciated the quality of the paint used. Once the day was over it took only a warm washcloth to remove the work. It was crazy busy, definitely over 5,000 in attendance, way more than we anticipated! The weather didn’t hurt the attendance, it was a beautiful, warm fall day. "Amy (Owner) was at the Flying Heritage Combat Armor Museum and she was working hard the entire time. Her paintings are beautiful and detailed. Our wait for over 1.5 hours was worth it! Her kindness extended to kids and attention to their requests is amazing, despite working 7 hours painting face after face. One of the hardest things about a job like this is graciously knowing when to cut off the line so you end on time. Amy's works is always thought out, never rushed and she is always willing to listen to what you say and make your picture come true. If there's a design you like I'm sure Amy can work her magic and make it happen. One other thing I really appreciate about her beyond her talent is her willingness to be respectful of your time, your body, and your space. She always lets you know before she starts and informs you what you may feel as she uses different brushes and sponges on your face or arms. She warns you before she touches your face to move it or if she needs to you to change positions she always asks before she just does it. She takes her time on each piece but also understands how to move through a high line-she's so wonderful and great with children! "I was so very fortunate to have Amy paint my belly during my pregnancy with my youngest daughter Daria. Having already seen Amy in action face painting, I gave her carte blanche...er...belly blanche? As expected, the design she came up with was not only beautiful but also personalized to reflect my family. It was such a treat watching this piece of art take shape right before my eyes while my little one kicked away in my belly. The experience was relaxing and comfortable. Amy made sure to offer plenty of breaks for stretching, snacking, etc. Before I knew it I had a one of a kind masterpiece on my belly! Thank you Amy for a wonderful experience, I didn't want to ever wash it off...but for the sake of personal hygiene I eventually did-the paint actually came off easily without staining or irritating my skin. I contacted Amy on short notice, knowing that I wanted to have my belly painted before I "popped". She was great about scheduling me with my calendar and making it work. We ended up choosing to do a floral painting on my belly that turned out AMAZING! I was so happy with the result. She knew exactly what I wanted and also was hospitable and gracious with my big baby belly. THANK YOU AMY!
